ABOUT THE SHOW

Broadcasting weekly since March of 2022, Based Tunes has offered in-depth analysis of media, unconventional interviews, and a blistering energy no matter what happens on an episode.

The show is primarily focused on music, initially starting with album reviews, but has shifted to cover any topic that I have something to say about. I can talk to ANYONE about ANYTHING. Trust me.

I generally mix it up between old, new, obscure, well-known, and anything in between. There really isn't anything I can't talk about, as long as I can find something interesting (and I can!)

HOW I DO IT

I write scripts or outlines for almost all of my shows. These involve a lot of research into the history of what I'm talking about, technical details, funny anecdotes, and a lot more. During the course of a live broadcast I handle sequencing audio, mixing live to make sure the sound is perfect, film the episode, solve issues with tech, take callers, and make sure everything is running smoothly.

After that, I edit my recording together for YouTube, create a thumbnail, and upload everything to YouTube and Spotify for Podcasters.
